  Peaceful nature reserve close to Oakamoor. Once you leave the carpark and descend down the path then all of the road noise disappears and all you can hear are the birds and wind blowing through the trees. Unless you stick to the gravel road then wear stout footwear as the footpaths are steep, often covered in tree roots and can be slippery. Some of the footpaths involve considerable overall elevation gains of some 400 feet. There are NO facilities other than a couple of picnic benches.
